On this International Equal Pay Day, we condemn gender inequality and advocate for equal pay! In Southeast Asia as well as across all regions in the world, women are still paid less than men. Gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls continues to be held back.

Unfortunately, progress on narrowing the gender pay gap has been too slow and still deprives millions of women and girls of equal opportunities, safe jobs and equal pay for work of equal value.
