Laws that are meant to protect Thai people are full of loopholes that give state agencies free rein under the guise of ānational securityā.
We call for urgent overhaul of the Thai legal system to prevent this technology from becoming another tool of oppression. All technological governance must prioritise human rights and hold states and corporations accountable.
