Civil Society Organization Sustainability Index Report 2019

On 26 November, we launched our “CSO Sustainability Index Report” 2019, discussing whether the legal, social & funding landscapes are supportive of CSOs’ sustainability in Thailand. The report found out that CSOs’ sustainability deteriorated from 2018 to 2019, as it was also the case the previous year. Unfortunately, Thai CSOs are not evolving in a country that protects and respects human rights and freedoms, because Thailand is not a real democracy.

We call on the Thai government to stop the human rights violations against its own citizens and to create a safe and free environment where CSOs can evolve and fight for what is right. We need a real democracy where our voices are heard! We need our rights and freedoms to be respected!
