#DigitalWellbeing š¾Never forget: Holistic Wellbeing includes #DigitalWellbeing
š©āš»Itās #CybersecurityMonth which means weāve been thinking a lot about #DigitalHygiene and #Wellbeing. Though staying informed about the world around us is just as important as ever, we must always remember that wellbeing is all about #Balance.Ā
ā° One way to do this is by setting digital boundaries, such as by setting #ScreenTime limitations and taking breaks.
š°We can also make conscious efforts to try to use device-free self-soothing and stress management techniques, instead of resorting to #Doomscrolling.
š«Staying grounded in the tangible world and reducing our overall reliance on devices can also help us detach from the digital world when we need to.
š«¶Finally, just generally remembering what truly matters to us, and working to live in the present with ourselves and our communities whenever we can, are always important when #DecolonisingWellbeing, including when practising #DigitalWellbeing.Ā
š¬Even though humans invented the #DigitalWorld, we are simply not physically built to consume and process this much content and complexity every minute, every day, for such long periods of time. We can only coexist with the digital space in a balanced way if we establish #Boundaries with it, and cultivate conscious digital wellbeing habits.
