Today, 8 October, marks the #InternationalLesbianDay! 🧡 On this day, we celebrate and honor the diversity, culture and lesbian HERstory!

Did you know that the L in #LGBTQ+ comes first for an important, historical reason❓ - Lesbians have been acknowledged within the queer community for their role as caretakers during the AIDS crisis! In 1983, lesbians across the country formed "Blood Sisters" groups to help organize blood drives and were the primary caretakers to gay men with AIDS!
