āļø Although Thailand is praised for being the first Asian country to implement a NAP-BHR, the current NAP fails to include a smart mix of voluntary and mandatory measures. For instance, it does not require business to conduct mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence (mHREDD).Ā
šCurrently communities are paying the price, while facing SLAPPs, when speaking out against corporate abuse. Thailand must do better to protect these communities.Ā
