#SaveUyghur 🔴 #BREAKING: THAILAND DEPORTS 40 UYGHURS TO CHINA—This is Transnational Repression in Action!

📢 Thailand has blood on its hands! Thailand has once again proven itself to be a fertile land for transnational repression. It has secretly deporting 40 Uyghur asylum seekers to China, a country known for committing genocide against Uyghurs.
A total of 48 Uyghurs were detained in Thailand. On 27 February 2025, 40 were deported to China, while the fate of the remaining 8 Uyghurs remains unknown.
🚨 This is not just a deportation—it is a death sentence. These Uyghurs now face torture, enforced disappearance, and imprisonment.
💬 "Thailand has no shame perpetrating transnational repression, bowing down to China, and enabling human rights atrocities. It has shattered its credibility and made itself complicit in China’s persecution of Uyghurs. By deporting 40 Uyghur asylum seekers to China, despite clear risks of torture, enforced disappearance, and persecution, Thailand has violated its own 2023 Anti-Torture Act and international human rights law, including the principle of non-refoulement under the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance (ICPPED) and the UN Convention Against Torture (UNCAT)."— Emilie Palamy Pradichit, Founder & Executive Director, Manushya Foundation
🚨 WHAT HAPPENED?
📍 2:14 AM – Multiple black-taped vehicles were seen leaving the detention center, but attempts to track them were blocked.📍 4:48 AM – A China Southern Airlines flight departed from Don Mueang Airport—bound for Xinjiang.📍 9:00 AM – The flight’s tracking data disappeared from public radar.
🚨 CHINA'S CCTV NEWS CONFIRMS THAILAND'S ROLE!
📢 At 2:00 PM China time, China’s state media (CCTV News) officially confirmed the "repatriation" of the 40 Uyghurs, with the full cooperation of Thai authorities.
🔹 China proudly boasted about increasing cooperation with Thai officials to crush Uyghur dissent beyond its borders.🔹 This is state-led transnational repression in action.
🇺🇳 Thailand Must Resign from the UN Human Rights Council!
💬 "This massive human rights violation blows apart any pretense the Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and her Thai government has made to be a rights-respecting member of the UN Human Rights Council. The Thai government should resign its seat on the Council to show responsibility for its outrageous and unacceptable action."— Phil Robertson, Director, Asia Human Rights and Labour Advocates (AHRLA)
As a member of the UN Human Rights Council, Thailand had a duty to defend fundamental rights, yet it has betrayed these commitments for political convenience. The world is watching, and Thailand must be held accountable for this blatant violation of human rights.
🚨 The remaining Uyghur detainees must NOT face the same fate!
🚨 ACT NOW: DEMAND JUSTICE FOR THE 40 UYGHURS!
📢 Governments, the UN, and civil society must:
✅ Demand full transparency on the whereabouts of those deported.
✅ Ensure that the remaining Uyghurs in detention are resettled safely.
✅ Hold Thailand accountable for this atrocity!
⚠️ We must not stay silent!📌 Tag @UNHCR, @UNHumanRights & demand immediate intervention!
