Shaping Peace Together

This International Day of Peace is the opportunity to strengthen the ideals of peace and non-violence! In Southeast Asia, peace is threatened by various conflicts, mostly internal ones. Very often, the governments themselves are the ones to break the peace by violating their citizens’ rights and sometimes physically attacking them.

However, this year has shown us that we have to join forces to fight a common enemy: the COVID-19 virus. The pandemic threatens our health, security and very way of life; which is why we need solidarity and cooperation across borders to win this fight.
