Solution to Pollution is in mother nature.
#EarthDay š This #EarthDay, let's pledge to take action and protect our planet! Mother Nature holds the key to solving our pollution crisis, and it's time for corporations to take notice! We want a real #JustEnergyTransition!
Mother Nature has been developing natural processes and systems for millions of years that can help mitigate pollution, such as wetlands and forests that filter out pollutants. Biodiversity can also help maintain healthy ecosystems and support natural processes that can break down waste and pollutants.
It's time for corporations to recognize the potential of nature-based solutions! Corporations must step up and take responsibility for their impact on our planet. Mother Nature is begging for our attention, and we need to listen! Not only on this Earth Day but every single day!
Meanwhile, the devastating effects of corporate pollution are being felt around the world. In Central Thailand, the Chatree gold mining complex has left villagers in Phichit and Phetchabun Provinces struggling to survive. We can't ignore this any longer.
We can't rely on governments alone to protect our planet. It's up to corporations to take action and clean up their act. On this Earth Day, we come together and demand change!
Manushya urges Thailand to adopt mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence legislation (mHREDD) for corporations to be held accountable for their impact on the environment, and to reform its energy policy to shift to sustainable renewable energy solutions! It's time for a real #JustEnergyTransition from fossil fuels to clean energy.
Join us in demanding a just, feminist, green, and inclusive transition! #EarthDay
We want People and the Planet over Profit! No more greenwashing!
