วันนี้ (4 ส.ค.) มิ้นท์ (นามแฝง) สมาชิกกลุ่ม 'นาดสินปฏิวัติ' ถูกจับเนื่องจากโดนกล่าวหาว่ามีความผิดในคดีม. 112 และพ.ร.บ.คอมพิวเตอร์ โดยศูนย์ทนายความเพื่อสิทธิมนุษยชนรายงานว่าตำรวจออกหมายจับดังกล่าว พร้อมอ้างกรณีที่มิ้นท์โพสต์ภาพถือป้ายข้อความวิจารณ์กระบวนการในคดี 112


นอกจากนี้ ยังมีข้อมูลอีกว่า หมายจับของมิ้นท์ออกโดยศาลอาญากรุงเทพใต้และเป็นคดีของ สน.ยานนาวา อย่างไรก็ตาม หลังจากถูกแจ้งข้อหา เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจได้นำตัวมิ้นท์ไปที่กองบัญชาการตำรวจปราบปรามยาเสพติด (บช. ปส.) ซึ่งไม่ใช่สถานีตำรวจในท้องที่เกิดเหตุแต่อย่างใด ซึ่งเมื่อคืนที่ผ่านมา มิ้นท์ถูกควบคุมตัวที่บช.ปส. ก่อนที่ตำรวจจะนำตัวไปที่ศาลอาญากรุงเทพใต้เพื่อขอฝากขัง


อย่างไรก็ตาม ล่าสุด ศาลอนุญาตให้มิ้นท์ประกันตัวชั่วคราวแล้ว แต่มีเงื่อนไขเช่น ห้ามกระทำการในลักษณะเดียวกับที่ถูกกล่าวหา และห้ามเดินทางออกนอกราชอาณาจักร ซึ่งเป็นเงื่อนไขที่มุ่งหมายเพื่อปิดปากและจำกัดสิทธิเสรีภาพทางการแสดงออกคล้ายกับที่นักเคลื่อนไหวหลายคนที่ได้รับการประกันตัวต้องเผชิญ


ถึงแม้มิ้นท์จะได้รับการปล่อยตัว แต่เรายังต้องจับตาดูกระบวนการศาลและคดีที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการแสดงออกทางการเมืองต่อไป เพราะมีคนอีกจำนวนไม่น้อยที่ยังไม่ได้รับการประกันตัว ตั้งแต่เกิดการประท้วงรัฐบาลทหาร นักเคลื่อนไหวทางการเมืองมากกว่า 30 คนถูกจับเพียงเพราะออกมาวิพากษ์วิจารณ์ระบอบเผด็จการและการใช้อำนาจอย่างไม่ชอบธรรม มูลนิธิมานุษยะขอเรียกร้องให้รัฐบาลคืนสิทธิและเสรีภาพในการแสดงออกให้กับประชาชนไทยโดยด่วน! ไม่ว่าจะบนพื้นที่ออนไลน์หรือพื้นที่ปลอดภัยใด ๆ ก็ตามในการแสดงความคิดเห็นด้านการเมือง


✊🏼 มูลนิธิมานุษยะขอประณามการใช้กฎหมายหมิ่นพระบรมเดชานุภาพและพ.ร.บ.คอมพิวเตอร์เพื่อเป็นเครื่องมือทางการเมือง เราขอเรียกร้องให้ศาลและตำรวจปล่อยตัวมิ้นท์ รวมทั้งนักต่อสู้เพื่อประชาธิปไตยคนอื่น ๆ ที่ถูกกุมขังโดยเร็วที่สุด รัฐต้องหยุดการขังก่อนพิจารณาคดีและต้องไต่สวนอย่างเป็นธรรมที่สุด


 

#Abolish112 #DigitalRights 🚨 Traditional Thai dancer-turned-activist "Mint" arrested on royal defamation charge


📍 On August 4, "Mint" (pseudonym), a member of the activist group ‘Thai Dance for Revolution’, was arrested at her home for allegedly violating Section 112 Royal Defamation Law and the Computer Crime Act. According to Thailand Lawyer For Human Rights (TLHR), Mint was charged for posting a picture of herself holding a sign that condemns authorities’ mishandling of past lèse-majesté cases.


⚠️ After being visited by officers from Yannawa Police Station on Thursday afternoon, Mint was taken to the narcotics suppression bureau, a department outside their jurisdiction. After spending the night in detention, she was brought to a court hearing on the temporary detention request today.


The Court granted her temporary release, but only on a number of conditions, including an ultimatum demanding her to refrain from committing similar acts in the future. This decision echoes those issued in previous cases against political prisoners like Mint.


⚠️ Even though Mint was released, we still have to keep an eye on the judiciary as there are currently many activists who are detained. At least 30 political dissidents are now sitting in Thailand's jails merely for speaking up against the country's long-standing dictatorship and gross abuse of power. The government must restore the protection of the Thai people’s right to freedom of expression, both online and offline, immediately.
