We Want a World where All Girls can Grow Up to Become Powerful Women!

Despite some progress made to achieve worldwide gender equality, girls still face many challenges and struggle to fully develop themselves and become the powerful women they deserve to be. Too little is done to help them; yet they are our future and their voices should count as much as any other.

That’s why on the International Day of the Girl Child, we paid tribute to all the amazing and inspiring girls and adolescent girls who decided that they had enough of sexism and patriarchy and chose to go their own way to fight for global causes, such as Marley Dias, Bana Alabed, Payal Jangid, Nada Al-Ahdal, Licypriya Kangujam and Greta Thunberg.
